Erbauer Tile & Glass Drill Bit Set 3Pcs | Tile Drilling ...
Rated 2 out of 5 by PieNPeas from Started out great, then... We had our bathroom retiled and need to refit raditors etc. I read the reviews and bought the set. I used on rotary, not hammer to drill 6mm holes through 8mm porcelain tiles and just pulsed the power drill three times and then dipped the tip in water. I figure that if the bit 'spits or fizzes' when put in water, it is probably too hot and it's life shortened, so did this continually. This went great for nine holes, but on the tenth, still going slowly and carefully as described, the bit blade snapped in two, one part still in the shaft, the...

Hi MarkyMark66. It depends of the type of chuck on the drill in question. These should be fine with any SDS auto-locking chuck.

The 4 piece Bosch Multiconstruction drill bit set you have is it compatible with an SDS Plus hammer drill?

Drilling Porcelain Tiles - The Ultimate Guide
Identifying the Size of Hole to be Drilled
The first step is to correctly identify the size of hole to be drilled. This is very important, as the diameter of the hole to be cut dictates the method that you will use to drill into the tile.
The majority of holes that are 10mm and under in diameter will be drilled with the tile already fixed to the wall. Conversely, the majority of holes...

How to Install Shelves (using Corbels) on a Tile Wall

Rated 4 out of 5 by rjcms from Worked a treat second time Had to swap the first one as I couldn't get the 38mm cutter off after hand tightening it. Despite a little play in all 3 larger cutters took about 5 mins to cut a hole in 9mm floor tile using liberal amounts of water. Could do with an allen key being included and decent quality pilot drills for tiles. PLEASE SCREWFIX READ AND CORRECT THE ENGLISH IN YOUR PRODUCT MANUALS!!!!!!

Drilling Through Glass
November 23, 2010
Remember the lights in the wine bottle ? That idea has been stuck in my head and I've dying to try something similar. But I was intimidated to drill through glass. I've never done it before! So of course, I stopped at my local True Value to get the low-down on how it's done (I adore my local store. It's so easy to find someone to help.) I asked lots of questions. Do I need to buy a Dremel tool? How slow do I...
